POWER Centre is a "Cell Church.".
This means that we are a church made up of small groups of
4-12 people who meet weekly in various locations. Our ministry
is focused around people rather than programs. As a "Cell
Church," we believe in building relationships with those
who do not regularly attend church, taking the initiative
to go where the people are rather than waiting for the people
to come to us.
Our groups are designed to be encouraging, strengthening
and to promote and build healthy relationships with others
and with God. These small groups meet Monday through Sunday
wherever we have members. Currently this includes Belleville,
Ann Arbor, Detroit, Ypsilanti, Canton, Romulus, Pontiac,
Carleton, New Boston, Southfield and other areas. Church
membership is not a requirement to attend a cell group.
On Sunday mornings we gather for "CELLabration" where
all of the cell groups come together for corporate praise,
worship and the Word of God. Everyone is welcome to come
as they are into a casual environment where exciting worship
and a challenging message are shared.
We are also a church that believes in divine governmental
order as quoted in Ephesians 4:11. We believe that Apostles,
Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers make up the
governmental offices of the Church and that the gifts given
by God to His Church are for today.
